“Flights of Fancy” – US Vogue September 2008

It’s almost September, a month when all the fashion magazines try to stuff as many advertisements in their pages as possible.  If you can actually make your way through the filler in the US Vogue, though, you will be pleasantly surprised by this spread, which features Caroline Tretini and the boys who star in the Broadway version of Billy Elliot.  Vogue is pretty big on having Caroline jump around in her editorials, so I guess it makes sense to have her as the focus of this ballerina/motion-inspired shoot.  All of the dresses are lovely, especially the Marchesa piece with the ostrich feathers.  And how cute are those little kids in their little dancing shoes?
